These are the few you can visit which are situated in the north of Coorg District. Since Kutta is in south, these places are a little bit far.
Abbey falls:

Abbey Fall ( ಅಬ್ಬೆ ಜಲಪಾತ )is in Kodagu, in the Western Ghats in Karnataka. It is located 90km from the Kutta, 8km from Madikeri. The waterfall is located between private coffee plantations with stocky coffee bushes and spice estates.
From Madikeri the waterfall is accessible by a well laid road till the coffee estate gate. Thereon, a small trek through the coffee and spices plantations leads to the waterfalls. The roar of the falls can be heard from the road.
Mandalpatti Trek:
Mandalpatti hills are located 18 km from Madikeri city, 100km from Kutta .Mandalpatti is one of the top five highest points in Coorg. The drive to Mandalpatti from Madikeri is very scenic passing through coffee plantations and forest. On the way you willl pass Abbey falls junction. Trekking can be done here, jeep rides available. Entry ticket has to be taken from the authorities.
Puspagiri Hills:

Pushpagiri or Kumara Parvatha, at 1,712 metres (5,617 ft), is the highest peak in Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary in the Western Ghats of Karnataka. It is located in the northern part of Kodagu district on the border between Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu districts, 130km from Kutta. It is the second highest peak of Kodagu and 6th highest peak of Karnataka. Trekking can be done from the base, Bhagati, which is a 10 km, three-hour walk.
